Chasing Comets is a professional acoustic duo that consists of singer Sigrid & guitarist Michael. The duo performs heartfelt covers of pop anthems, folk tunes and jazz standards and turns them into their own.

 

Hailing from Oslo, Sigrid is a BIMM London graduate & solo artist, who has worked as a session singer, songwriter & producer in various projects, including alongside Crystal Fighters & Maverick Sabre. With her captivating stage presence and distinctive style, Sigrid’s vocal ranges from warm and soft to powerful and energetic, and her vocal influences vary from Frank Sinatra to Alicia Keys.

 

Michael is a session musician and songwriter hailing from Colchester, England.  He has performed and recorded with a huge number of artists, including Alison Moyet, Heather Peace, Cloves and Etaoin. Michael is comfortable in a wide range of styles on the guitar, and provides the perfect accompaniment to Sigrid’s stunning vocals.

Between them they have performed at venues such as Royal Festival Hall, Shepherds Bush Empire, Jazz Cafe, Manchester Academy, Sydney Mardi Gras, The Cavern Club, Glastonbury Festival, Brighton Dome, Under The Bridge and VIP Southampton FC.
